Kids Lie

Yes, those cute little bundles of joy don’t always tell the truth. As a parent of two, I learned that pretty quickly. People who think kids are so innocent are people who don’t have kids. But the worst thing of all is a parent who thinks their child doesn’t lie.

I truly believe that kids need to lie. In fact they can go through a lying stage where most of what comes out of their mouth is fabricated. This is a good way for them to learn how to spot a liar when they are older and have learned the consequences of their lying.
